This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Good to Gain.”
At Edgbaston Priory Club, it feels particularly relevant. We are fortunate to be part of a club with a proud history in women’s sport, but what makes our community special today is the contribution of so many people across the club who help make it what it is.
I would like to take this opportunity to recognise the women across our club, from our coaching team, operations, events, grounds, hospitality and administration, through to our players and members. The work, professionalism and commitment you bring every day helps shape the culture of Edgbaston Priory Club and the experience we provide to our members and guests.
“Good to Gain” is about recognising that when we create opportunities, support development and champion each other, everyone benefits. Progress is not just about leadership or high-profile moments, it is built day-to-day through the work of people across the whole organisation.
I am proud of the team and community we have here, and grateful for the role so many women play in making our club welcoming, ambitious and forward-looking.
