We’ve had an action packed May here at the Club! We’ve had many socials and members excelling in their tournaments.
We would like to congratulate Katie who represented Great Britain in the ITF World Championships in Mexico. Katie competed in singles and doubles throughout the week. Katie and her team came 9th out of 16. Well done Katie!
In addition, one of our junior members, Tegan, won the J60 in Latvia! She was top seed and battled through to victory. A great week of tennis from Tegan – well done!
May also holds our much loved annual Victor Sharpe event. It was great to see so many members enjoying an afternoon of tennis. Victor Sharpe is an interesting doubles tournament where you swap partners every 20 minutes – it makes for a very fun game of tennis! Congratulations to everyone that entered, and a special congratulations to our winners, Alex and Janet.
