We have watched the quarter-finals in both the men’s and women’s main draws and the women’s doubles final!
Mimi’s impressive journey in this tournament comes to an end against France’s Ponchet. Jessika, a formidable opponent, secured a 6–2, 6–4 victory to advance to the semi-finals.
In another quarter-final match, Czech Linda Fruhvirtova demonstrated her grass-court strength by defeating her opponent in straight sets, gaining her spot in the semi-finals.
Masarova is sat in the semi-final and is waiting for either Minnen or Birrell who’s play has been suspended due to the light.

Rinky Hijikata has kicked off his Lexus Birmingham Open run in style, taking down fellow Aussie Alex Bolt 6–4, 6–3 in a confident win. The third seed looked sharp on the grass and wasted no time booking his place in the next round.
Colton Smith defeated the experienced Harris in a quarter-final battle and books him a place in the semi-finals.

On Centre Court we have exciting semi-final matches.
Jessika Ponchet has worked her way through the draw with confident performances, taking out two British players en route. She now faces Linda Fruhvirtova, the young Czech talent who has previously had good results on the grass.
Colton Smith is relishing this opportunity and learning to love the grass, he’s in the semi-finals and is taking on third seed Rinky Hijikata.
Our men’s doubles final is the third match on Centre Court. It’s always exciting to watch doubles matches where we see creative play, fast volleys and great teamwork.
On Court 1 we have the men’s semi-final between Virtanen and Holt. The ladies’ quarter-final will finish and then the semi-final line-up will be completed.

The first champions of the Lexus Birmingham Open goes to Destanee Aiava and Cristina Bucsa who claimed the women’s doubles title!
