Our Squash and Racketball team have been very busy in July! We hosted the UK National Racketball Championships and it was a huge success. Over 200 players from ages 13-89 took part, competing in 19 different draws across three days of excellent racketball action. It was fantastic to see the increase of junior players entering the tournament this year, a sign of the development of the sport!
We also hosted a corporate charity event. We had a great afternoon organising the 48 player event at the club. We played Challenge the Coach, a Timed Team Event and £10 Note Challenge. Well done to all those that took part and congratulations on raising lots of money for charity!
We also have had success in our Academy! One of our juniors played for England in Houston. She played in the WSF World Juniors Squash Championships and the team finished 6th. Well done!
