We have had a very successful start to the summer tennis season at Edgbaston Priory Club!
Firstly, our Academy players have absolutely smashed it at Nationals. Tegan is a National Champion! She won the U16 National Championship in doubles and she also reach the final in singles. Issy Walker also had a very successful week at the National Championships – she reached the singles semi-finals and the doubles finals. A massive congratulations goes to the both of them!
We have also held some amazing member events this month, starting with our Dingles tournament. This was a new event for us, and it proved to be a very popular one. This event was a hybrid between singles and doubles – which makes dingles!
Our Captains’ Day event was also a hit with over 80 members playing and socialising! It was great to see so many new members enjoying the event – it was an amazing atmosphere.
The Summer League has also started, and we have teams in over 8 leagues! Good luck to all of our teams – we’re sure you will smash it.
