INTRODUCING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

AT THE EDGBASTON PRIORY CLUB

As a club, we are committed to working with partners in our local community to provide opportunities for children and adults to be inspired by racquet sport.

Thanks to a partnership between the LTA, Edgbaston Priory Club and Birmingham City Council, the courts at Cannon Hill Park have been completely refurbished and floodlighting installed so that visitors to the park can play tennis all year round, day and night.  Through Birmingham Park Tennis and other sites across South Birmingham, our coaching team have inspired and enabled over 7,000 people to play tennis.

Our schools outreach work, supported by Birmingham City University, has also inspired thousands of local pupils to take up tennis and squash and lead more healthy and active lives.

We also host tennis tournaments for visually impaired players which attracts players from all corners of the UK.

In addition, our Groundsteam work with the Heart of Birmingham Vocational College to provide workplace opportunities for people with learning difficulties.

We’re committed to delivering an engaging, inclusive and exceptional opportunities for the local community.
We want to inspire the next generation of tennis and squash players by providing more opportunities in the local community.

We’re actively seeking partners that share this ambition and can be part of this exciting journey.
