Squash National Cup Finals Weekend
The weekend of the 28th and 29th November 2009 saw Edgbaston Priory Men’s and Ladies team participate in the National Cup Finals weekend in Nottingham.
Priory was invited to this event By England Squash and Racketball for winning the 2008/2009 Winter Division 1 Warwickshire League.
This event saw the strongest squash clubs playing each other from every Region, and was a very strong team event.
Edgbaston Priory Ladies Team was very successful. They came away as National Cup Champions 2009, winning the final 3-2
Edgbaston Priory Men’s Team did very well to reach the final, where they were beaten by a very strong Hazelwood side 4-1.
